IMPORTANT NEWS THAT COULD AFFECT YOUR RIGHT TO INSTALL A WIND TURBINE ON YOUR PROPERTY IN MASSACHUSETTS.
Some municipalities have passed or are considering passing by-laws to regulate the installation of wind turbines in MA. Some of these by-laws are so restrictive and burdensome that they prevent or seriously restrict a proper installation. A model by-law is now in Joint Committee in the State Legislature. The by-law is written to protect your right to install a working small wind energy system. We ask for your help in supporting this important legislation. The bill was filed by Representative Michael J. Rodrigues, Docket #2282. The model by-law could also be adopted at a local level to insure that your rights are protected.
